After some hard trips in the desert fighting those tyrannical rocks and whoops, we found ourselves with quite the repair on our hands. After bringing this up to close 3G4R friends, and eventually to the masses via social media, we realized this was a much more common issue than we realized. Tons of others had too been oppressed by rocks and heavy wheeling, which lead to costly and avoidable repairs. We knew we had to put a stop to this, so we spent the last year (month) in the back of our shop plotting our revenge. We knew we had to make a statement. And now, you too can fight back! With a very easy simplified install, you can literally bolt these gussets on with some m8 hardware to align everything before welding. We took the guess work right out of it.
This reinforcement not only protects your front crossmember from cracking, but also adds gusseted support to those control arm mounts at the forefront of your 3rd Gen 4runner.
